He also was in Christian county part of his life as a slave. I have recently found him in the census for 1870 in Fairview Prec. and am still hunting for him in 1880. I believe he left KY about 1883-1885. He is on the Kansas State census with my grandfather in 1885. I also have more information from his military record (Civil War) and later census and death record. But I would like to know more about the time in Todd county, and if several families left there at the same time for Kansas.

Is this him? If so, he's in Christian County in 1880. The two households after them are: Gracy TILLMAN Gustavius GRAY and the household before them is: Claborn MASSIE Hope this helps.
