    2. Found a K H Wright as witness to a Cleavinger Will. In the Cleavinger will, it list a William Delis Wright as being a grandson of Mrs. F. M. Cleavinger. Found a typed copy of a will, dated October 3, 1931, by Mrs. K. H. Wright, in which she refers to her son W. O. McBride and grandson, Ernest McBride. (The Wright will was presented to court as the true last will etc. on January 13, 1947). This will is witnessed by Aubrey N. Wright and W. L. Wright. sure would like to hear from anyone who could give some insight as to the relationship of the Wright's/ McBride's and Cleavinger's. thanks Diann

    2. Dan Vass
    3. I have recently received a picture of a young woman, baby and a man probably in his late 40's. I think the picture was probably taken around 1880 or thereabouts. I have found the picture to be in the possession of two different descendants. One descandant from William Warren Vass(1847-1901) and the other a descendant from James Monroe Hancock(1838-1927). I am thinking I might get a closer time from finding out when this Clarence Anderson was a photographer in Hopkinsville. Does anybody have access to a city directory for that time period? Would appreciate any help. Maybe the census records would give a clue. Thanks Dan Vass. If you would like to look at the picture it is at the following address: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ky/county/todd/gallery/photo14.htm. The photo is located in the top left corner.

Unforunatley there were 2 John Greenfields' in and around Todd Co. at the same time. The LDS site has merged information on the 2 Johns' making it real confusing. I was happy with the information tracing the Greenfield family until a Greenfield family member clued me in to the error. This branch of Greenfield family members cannot trace the earliest William Greenfiel past the probably location of Burke ,N.C. MLatham

    3. I believe they indeed were from Albemarle VA, but that is why I seek any helpful info from the marriage record - i.e. are parents or witnesses named? The BAILEY's from Albemarle VA settled in Todd KY; and were intermarried with the COLEMAN family which had strong ties to my WATSON line. John A. BAILEY m. Martha "Patsy" COLEMAN 1820 in nearby Christian Co., KY. I'm not sure which BAILEY family he belongs to: Charles A. BAILEY b. 1798 who came to Todd KY by 1809. Charles A. BAILEY was married to his cousin Elizabeth L. JONES (dau of Ann COLEMAN and John JONES). There were also descendants of a Callum BAILEY from Albemarle VA living in the Logan/Todd KY area. I'm not sure if these two Albemarle VA BAILEY lines connect - but, given they both tie to my WATSON and COLEMAN lines, I suspect they do. The above Charles A. BAILEY may even be Callum's grandson, as he mentioned sons John, Calem, William and Charles in his will of 1787. Any help appreciated.
