Re Mount Eden, It's a small community in Spencer Co, about 10 miles East of Taylorsville, the county seat. My husband says it's near Briar Ridge and near the Salt River. I'm interested in the community of Snider, which has/had to be nearby? I found an inscription on the back of my husband's grandmother's (wedding?) photo which said, "Mrs. Joseph Mills, Snider, Kentucky." So it at least was a neighborhood.
