It's been awhile since I posted, so I thought I'd try again . . . maybe some "New Year" luck will be with me! Looking for descendants of THOMAS TUCKER (ca 1776-1848) and ELIZABETH COLEMAN (ca 1782-1864) who moved to Shelby County KY (that part which became Spencer in 1823) from Amelia County VA about 1806. Thomas and Elizabeth Coleman Tucker had nine children who lived to adulthood: 1. Hezekiah (1801-1863) m. Ruth Howard, Martha Stout, and Mary Reasor 2. Mary "Polly" (b. ca 1803) m. William Paris 3. William (ca 1804-ca1855) m. Anna Shaw 4. Hazael (1806-1875) m. Nancy Jane Cooper 5. Elijah (1808-1848) m. Sarah D. "Sally" Stone 6. Caleb (ca 1811-1876) m. Matilda Stone 7. Perlina Emma (1814-1836) m. Stephen Bridwell 8. Nelson (1816-1881) m. Margaret Seaton 9. Lucinda (1818-1872) m. Stephen Bridwell Known descendants of the above-named children moved to Jefferson and Union Counties, KY, and some stayed in Spencer County. Some moved to Florida. Would love to talk to anyone having knowledge of this family. Thanks! Vicki
