I am looking for information on David McWilliams. I believe he was married to Jane Boyd, daughter of George Boyd in 1812 in Shelby County. David came to Shelby County from Ireland. He had several children, I only know the name of George Thomas McWilliams. George Thomas was born in Shelby County in 1832 and married Elizabeth Busey, daughter of John Simpson Busey and Mary Underwood Busey, in 1858. They then moved to Missouri. I don't know where in Ireland David came from or even when. I would also like to know his other children's name (the 1850 census lists only initials, and the handwriting is such that I can't even figure out what some of the initials are.) I don't know when or where he died, if he even stayed in Kentucky. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful. Thank you, Margaret McWilliams
