I got out my copy of their marriage bond and in it her mother made a written statement that Susan was, " is 21 years of age and (afterward???) " I always thouth that it said that but the writing isn't really clear. I haven't gotten to the 1860 census yet, so I'll keep this in mind. Thanks for the new idea. I'll let you know. Jean.
