Brock, We may have talked before but just in case not, I have a little data on the David and James you mentioned on the board: DAVID CLAYTON (no birth/death dates) Only known children: 1) JAMES CLAYTON (d. before 1824 Shelby Co., KY) married 6 Mar 1806 Shelby Co., Ky ELIZABETH (BETSY) TODD (b.8 July 1787, d.23 Aug 1850) 2) MARY (POLLY) CLAYTON (nd) married 1 Oct 1805 Shelby Co., KY ANDREW TODD (b.27 Dec 1776 VA, d.14 Aug 1844 Shelby Co., KY) I believe the Clayton's picked up and moved to Indiana sometime around 1810-1815 along with a bunch of Leatherman's, Finley's, Todd's, Tegarden's, and Kearby's. Hope this helped some.
