Mc-?; Lydia Mc-?; Wm. J. Merrifield, m by Spencer Clack, from minister return. Alexander Merrifield b 1765, d 1847, buried Bloomfield but probate LaRue Co; m Rachel Boone, d/o Samuel and Jane Foulke Hughes, Jr (of Shelby Co) 1787 Jefferson Co, Ky. Alexander was Nelson, Jefferson, Shelby, Hardin & LaRue Cos. Am chasing all over for him since I am a Merrifield Family researcher. Data on Merrifield family in Washington & Mercer as well. Have only "done" LaRue & Hardin and am working at present on Nelson Co. Have the others to "do". Don't have much on the Summers/Merrifield line. It is my understanding that Amanda died and John B. married again. John B. was in Bullitt Co ca 1847 as he filed suit against the heirs of Alexander Merrifield for a share of his estate. I do have a listing of the children but do not have it a hand right now. If you are interested in John B., I will be glad to send it to you. Was just trying to touch base with you on the Summers.
