Debbie, If you're able to get there, Hendricks Co IN has quite an extensive gen. collection at the public library in Plainfield. There is much less gen. material available in Putnam Co but the courthouse has public records. I have no idea if anyone researches queries sent to the Plainfield library, but I would try that avenue to see if there is a family file, for example. They are currently in a building program, which might delay a response, but I have found the staff quite helpful.
