I am researching my 2G grandfather William Brown who left a will in Shelby County dated 19 June 1821. He left his entire estate to his minor son, my great-grandfather Travis Brown. Elijah Maddox, a son of Wilson Maddox, was named the will's executor and guardian of Travis. Travis married Sarah Ann Lindsay on 30 October 1828 in Shelby County. Sarah Ann was a daughter of Anthony Lindsay and his wife Rachel Ann Dorsey. The Lindsay and Dorsey families were MD families. Travis and Sarah Ann moved to Jackson County, IN between 1836 and 1838. I would like to learn more of the Brown ancestry. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ira
