For Lincolns look to Washington, Hardin, Larue Cos. Lincoln & Boone connected. To my knowledge Lincolns were from Pa (as Boones were originally- to Va & NC then to Ky- alot in Shelby Co). Have Lincolns involved with my Merrifield Family in Hardin, Larue, Washington Cos, Ky. Also Lincolns were connected to a branch of the Merrifield Family in McLean Co, Il (Abe used to visit them as he rode the circuit). The Merrifield family (like mine) originated (we think) in Frederick Co, Va- some to Fayette Co, Pa (where there were Lincolns); some to Ky (where there were Lincolns). The Pa bunch to Ohio, to Illinois by 1830. My bunch stayed in Ky- coming to Illinois in 1923. Ann Boone Lincoln was GGm of Pres. Abe- she d/o James, s/o George III & Mary Maudridge.
