Hi Mary, Thanks for responding to my post. I would be happy to share information . . . Thomas Tucker is my brick wall. Have you been able to prove a relationship between Thomas and Peter Tucker? Thomas Tucker's daughter reported that he was born in Maryland; I know from his gravesite that he was born about 1775. The person I believe to be his second wife also reported in the 1850 census that she was born in Maryland. Another (unproven) source puts them in Culpeper County in about 1800. Thomas's oldest son, Hezekiah, was born in Virginia in 1800. The earliest I have found Thomas in Shelby County (so far) is about 1808. I'm willing to share any information I have, and will look forward to hearing from you. Are you by chance a professional genealogist? I have been toying with the idea of hiring someone, since I am so far away (Florida) from the Kentucky records I really need in order to go much further. Hope to hear from you soon, Vicki In a message dated 02/09/2000 2:51:18 PM Eastern Standard Time, mayoder@davesworld.net writes: > Am interested in Thomas Tucker.
