    3. Patrick Henry Roberts was generally known as Henry. He was born on 6 March 1756 in England, but fought for the colonists during the Revolutionary War. Each summer Henry's descendants hold a reunion in Franklin County, Kentucky at the Roberts Schoolhouse, which was built on land once owned by Henry. This year's reunion will be held on Sunday, July 30. Here are some details on Henry's family to help you determine if he is your ancestor. The name of his first wife and the date and place of their marriage are unknown. Their children were William (who moved to Wisconsin) Thomas H. Mary (who married Daniel Connell) Emanuel John Elizabeth (who married Jeremiah Williams). Henry's second wife was Catherine Austin (daughter of Moses Austin). They married in June 1810 in Baltimore, Maryland. Their children were Caroline (who married John W. Armstrong and a Young) Maria (who married Jesse Truman and Thornton Porter) Patrick Henry (who married Martha Ann Armstrong) Edmund Agustus Williscroft (who married Mary Jane Thompson, Synthia A. Perkins, and Nancy J. Fitemaster) Alexander G. (who married Louisa Wilmot) Austin H. (who married Elizabeth Pyles, Nancy Ann Eakins, and Sarah J. Easkins) Catherine M. (who married Charles G. Shay) Virginia (who married William Perkins) Shortly before 1830, most of the family moved into Kentucky and set- tled near the Benson Valley in northwestern Franklin County next to the Shelby County line. Henry died there 23 May 1839. If you're interested in attending, let me know and I'll provide directions and more details as I get them. I have descendants of most of the children, too, in case that will help you. Oh, I'm a descendant of Patrick Roberts and Martha Ann Armstrong. Bill McCray Lexington, KY
