I am looking for information on the descendants of Samuel & Eli Blades, sons of Jehu Blades of Worcester Co. MD. Eli was listed on the 1790 tax rolls, Samuel was listed in the 1820 census. He was married at least 2X & possibly 3X. We are trying to establish lineage back to Benjamin Henderson Blades, father of Jehu. There are many names that are peculier to the descendants of Benjamin H. Blades, i.e. Jehu, Benjamin, Selby, Samuel, & Eli. I am a descendant of Selby P. Blades of Clinton Co. IA. There is a Selby P. Blades in Arlington TX whose ancesters came from KY. There are other Selbys, Jehus & Benjamins scattered throughout the states of KY, LA, & MO.
