Leon, Saw your message re Richard Ridgway and found some info in my copy of "Shelby Co., KY Wills & Estates, 1792-1817" by Chas. M. Franklin; Heritage House, Indianapolis, IN, 1986. "Samuel Ridgway" was witness to the will of Peter Vardeman - will dated 22 July 1808 and recorded Oct 1811. (page 34) Also found a reference to the will of a "Richard Ridgway (Bk) 2, (pg) 79, (dtd) 1806" in the "Estates" section, which consists of " . . . inventories and administrators records that indicate that the below named individuals are deceased but does not necessarily identify all of the names of heirs of the deceased."
