Hi: William Sarvis was my ggggrandfather. He came to Shelby County before April 1798. He lived near the mouth of Fox Run River or Creek. His wife was Mary Polly Shelton. He died in Shelby County in 1826. I would like to know if he applied for any type of homestead or Federal grant to purchase his farm. If anyone has access to the 1800 Shelby County census, I would like to know where he was born. He and his wife had eleven children, all born in Shelby County. Any information concerning their wills, deeds, obituaries, news clips, etc. would really be appreciated. I will gladly pay for copying, postage, record fees, etc. Thank you-Trudy Swain
