They lived in Shelby county in 1834 since there son Shelby was born in Tick Creek. I don't know for sure that Daniel was born there but do know he was born in Kentucky. By 1836 Daniel is in Ray County, Missouri, and his first wife died prior to 1839 when he married second Elizabeth Lowe in Ray County. Elizabeth was also in Shelby County before removing to Missouri, She was there with her first husband William Maydon who died in Shelby County around 1835.
