rhg, Your name caught my eye! My husband's grandmother for a long time thought that her name was Wilkerson. One of my husband's cousin's did a lot of research on Clemons/Wilkerson's , and always came to a dead end. In 1991 my went with me, actually she went as my driver. We stopped in ST Louis and they have a marvelous library there. Susan, my daughter, ask, "Mama what I am I going to do while working on Rutledge lines" I told her to see if she could find any thing on her father's family. Was my ever red, as she came back in about twenty mines and she came back with the proper family and later she found marriages (2) and the birth dates of most of them? The name of his wife was very clear and it was Wilkins. I still have not done much more on that line as I have been so involved with my mother's line which is Rutledge. If I can be of any help let me know! Rachel Demaree Clemons RDCLEMONS@aol.com
