List, I have a Shelby Co, KY will written in 1831 & proved, on the death of the individual, in Dec 1838. In the will the husband leaves his wife specific property. The widow repudiated the will provision of the will and insisted on her dower rights. Can someone tell me what were the rights conferred by a widow's dower rights in 1838 Kentucky. Dick Cazier
