A kind soul has sent me a transcription of Henry NEWMAN's 1833 Spencer Co. will (signed in 1833 and probated in 1835). He was married to Fanny PULLIAM and their sons were James-Henry, Henry, Thomas, Simeon, Ezekiel; their daughters are listed as Agnes, Matilda and Rachel MCGAUGHEY, Elizabeth THOMPSON, Nncy CISSEL, Rebecca HAGAN, Margaret NEAL, Martha CISSEL. I am trying to 1) trace this family back into Maryland/Virginia, but there are several possible Henry and Thomas NEWMANs and I need help in sorting them out. 2) find a link between this family and my Gr-gr-grandfather George NEWMAN who married MAry Magdalen HAGAN.
