Don't know if I've looked this up for you before or not but Franklin's Wills & Estates book lists a JESSE RICE as witness to the will of Peter Vardeman, will dtd 22 July 1808, recorded Oct 1811. That's all I can find. 3. Dennis, Glad to meet you! This internet thing is great for meeting relatives who are searching common ancestors. Yes, I was contacted by Brad several weeks ago via the net. He and I are sharing data we have. I am descended from Wm Sr. & his 1st wife, Francis Weaver; their son, Wm Jr. who married Rachel (I think her last name was Rancey). Most of their children moved to Moultrie & Shelby Co, IL about 1840. Will be glad to share all the data I have & will welcome any info you have. If you want to contact me off the list, so we don't clutter it with stuff others may not be interested in, my email is mailto:dcazier@home.com Dick Cazier ----- Original Message ----- From: <HOCKYDAD9@aol.com> To: <KYSHELBY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 29, 2000 8:46 AM Subject: Re: [KYSHELBY] Goff/Gough > Hi Dick, > > My name is Dennis Fisher and my family line is tied into the Gough/Goff line. > Mary (Fisher) Bennett married William Gough, Sr. Have you run into Brad > Goff, who is also searching this line of William Gough, Sr.? > >
