I do not have much info, so I do not know if he was part of your family. I think his middle name was Allen. Here's what I do know. He was born in 1891 or 1892. He married Irene Guthrie, and they had one child, my father --- Robert Alexander Selby --- on July 10, 1918 in Clarksburg, W. Virginia. He also lived in Ohio and was a shoe salesman. Irene divorced him, and Clarence married a woman named Catherine. She was crippled with arthritis. They retired to Vero Beach, Florida. He died in the 1960's or 1970's. He was an alcoholic, and I believe he died from alcohol related complications. Does this sound like the Clarence A Selby in your family? Pam Selby Schlueter
