1870 census of Russell Co., KY, lists Louisa WARE, age 44 KY, Nelly J. age 18 KY, Isabell age 16 KY and NATHAN age 14 KY. Throughout the various censuses the surname Weir is often spelled WARE. Nathan Weir is found in the 1900 Russell census as being born Nov. 1864 TN with his parents born in TN. He married his wife MARY ca. 1880. I do not find the family in any census prior to 1870.
