I have some information on Reuben Dunbar who married Lettice Mason. I am not actively researching this line any longer but I like to help out where I can. My time is limited right now. I have a copy of Reuben's will where he mentions his son William. Is this the same William you are asking about? Jan Wilson Kings Mills, Ohio In a message dated 4/25/2005 8:20:06 A.M. I don't have a William that fits your line in his family, but then I haven't done a great deal of research on them yet. I have a couple of twin boys named Jasper and Newton b abt 1838 and a questionable father of William, but no other info. Jasper stayed in Russell Co KY; I don't know about Newton. There is another Dunbar family in Adair Co. that I can't hook up. I believe his name was Pascal Dunbar. I will print your info and keep it for future research. Sorry I couldn't help.
I too am a descendant of Reuben Dunbar and would be interested in a copy of Rueben's will and any other information you could pass along, time permitted.
