Hello Theresa. I couldn't connect to the website below, but do have a bit of info. on a Logan COFFEY. He appears in the 1880 Census of Russell Co. KY. A Grandfather James HAYNES b. ca. 1790 VA is in his household at this time. I am also VERY intersted in the John C. HAYNES you mention in your post. I have info. regarding a John C. HAYNES living in White or Gallatin Co. IL. ca 1840s. He states he was b. ca. 1787 in VA, but spent his boyhood in TN. Am trying to see if this man ties in with a James HAYNES b. Feb. 1760 Bedford Co.
