Square Oak is across the road from Square Oak Church. It is off of 1611in Russell County. (From Russell Springs ... take 80 to 910, turn right, you will come to a fork in the road .. a small gas station is in the middle of the fork.... veer right that is 1611... go about 1.5 to 3 miles down.... there is a house on the corner.... turn left..... go down about 1/4 mile... its there on the right). It is a nice sized cemetery. Some graves were relocated there from other cemeteries when they were building Lake Cumberland, well the dam I mean. I cant tell you about the Chumbleys... however, over the years of going up there... I have seen that name on gravestones in different cemeteries in the area. GH
