Help! Someone has thrown a monkey-wrench into my neat little nest by saying that they found Mathey and his new wife in Russell County around 1850. Oral tradition had him killed in Anderson Co., TN around 1840 instead of being divorced and remarried. Does anyone a clue? Any help would be appreciated! Sandi, Which Hart's are you researching? My grandfather was George B. Hart, s/o Lewis I. Hart & Servina/Vina Hurd/Herd. Lewis' father was Socarates Hart.
