Spears. All we know is William came from Kentucky (part unknown) and Anna came from Georgia. It appears the couple left Illinois at about age 21 and travelled, as we understand it, via the Oregon Trail. Their son James was born in Baker City, Oregon. Anna died in Washinton State and is buried at Yacolt. Not known where William was buried Son, James lived in Oregon. Also had children, Mae, Laurie, Ella & Arthur.
