There is a lot of my Richards family who is buried in that cemetary (in fact it started out being called the Richards Cemetary) and in reading this thread, I just wondered if you knew if there is a list that exists? I traveled up there from Memphis, TN a few years ago to visit the graves of my great-grandparents, my grandmother and see other family graves with my father, J.W.Richards. Dad grew up in a log cabin very near there and attended Blair School for a very short time. Dad is now 76. In fact, if you are standing in the little graveyard facing the tombstones, to your right, across the "yard" (there used to be a house there) you will go down a hill and down there is where the cabin is. The land is now owned by the Millers who I met when we made that trip. Mr. Miller not only remembered Dad but recalled a story about Dad shooting his cat (the cat survived!). I have a picture o! > f the old Blair schoolhouse that Dad took back in the 1940's that I can share. > I appreciate, in advance, any info that you can give me. > By the way, you probably know this, but the Grider's and the Richards families are VERY intertwined. > > Stephanie Richards Jackson > > > > ==== KYRUSSEL Mailing List ==== > To unsubscribe from KYRUSSEL-L, send mail to KYRUSSEL-L-request@rootsweb.com with the single word unsubscribe in the message subject and body. > > ============================== > Find your ancestors in the Birth, Marriage and Death Records. > New content added every business day.
