M C Hurston was said to have been killed in Ambush late summer of 1900 I found newspaper article in Adair County news of the Ambush murder of Mat Swanson July 27, 1900 M. C. Swanson burried in Coffey family cemetery Russell County Mar 1869 -July 1900 Catherine Darnell also burried there Criminal records search of Russell and Adair counties found MADISON SWANSON arrested several times 1891-1895 for "gunslinging" Bail Bond paid by JOHN M. DARNELL What are chances the Madison Hurston and Madison Swanson are the SAME person?
