Does connection exists to Jacob Brown Sr. b. 1734 who served in the Revolutionary War with his son Jacob Jr. b. 1761. 2. What, if any, connection exists to Jacob Brown who ran a trading post on the Nolachuckey River in Greene Cty., Tn. in 1772. This Jacob Brown came from SC and NC and was one of the first permanent residents in Tennessee. Jacob also called Isaac. Believe this Jacob may connect back to the Jacob Brown who was in the South Carolina Revolutionary War troops. Jacob Brown Sr. and Jacob Brown Jr. both served in the war in the same regiment. They lived in the part of NC that later became part of Tennessee (Washington County.) Does anyone have any information that will shed any light on this? I sure would appreciate anything. Nancy Brown was my husband's gg grandmother. Please email _jjemmett@aol.com_ (mailto:jjemmett@aol.com) Jan Wilson Kings Mills, Ohio
