    2. I am puzzled by the reference to White Oak Church Road. I grew up on Blair's School Road and I never heard of White Oak Church Road. Could this be the road that goes over toward Montpelier? Is it near Russell or Reynold's Creek? Could you be referring to the old Haynes-Williams Cemetery? I grew up near the Adair/Russell County line. Alene

    3. These maps may be easier to make sense of. Look on the Adair County map where it joins Russell County. White Oak Road is just below the parkway in Adair County. Notice where it goes into Russell County then look at the Russell County map. here is the Adair County map http://ukcc.uky.edu:8002/%7Emaps/adair.gif here is the Russell County map http://ukcc.uky.edu:8002/%7Emaps/russell.gif ----- Original Message ----- From: <AleneBrad@aol.com> To: <KYRUSSEL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 20, 2004 10:43 AM Subject: Re: [RUSSELL COUNTY, KY] Cemeteries >I am puzzled by the reference to White Oak Church Road. 3. A few years ago they gave all the roads in Russell County a name so this may be a new road name... The White Oak Church Road begins where the road curves sharply to the left by Cyrus Anderson's place. The White Oak Church Road goes straight on toward the Sam Coffey (swimming) Hole and comes back out on Hwy 80 over in Adair County. The cemetery I am thinking of is across from a field that apparently used to belong to some Haynes (since I have heard it referred to as the Haynes field by the current owner) This may be the Haynes/Williams cemetery... By the way- Acree Road, the road that curves to the left, goes toward Montpelier. ----- Original Message ----- From: <AleneBrad@aol.com> To: <KYRUSSEL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 20, 2004 10:43 AM Subject: Re: [RUSSELL COUNTY, KY] Cemeteries > I am puzzled by the reference to White Oak Church Road.
