Lisa, John Henry McGowan's parents were David McGowan (1820-1821) and Elizabeth Wilson (1825-1826, dau. of Thomas Wilson). They were married 15 Dec. 1841 in Russell, KY. David was the son of Alexander McGowan (ca. 1800) and Nancy (surname unknown). Ron
