The first Long there was Edward Long (died in 1828). His sons were John, Joel, Solomon and Samuel. Samuel (died around 1890) had a son by the name of Edward "Edy" Long. Some more recent Longs were Travis Long, Benjamin Homer Long, Julian Long (died 1959), Leonidas P. Long (died 1961). . Any help appreciated.
