Just a note - this person spammed several lists including this one via message board posts a couple of days ago - it came through the gateway for the message board for the county. Rootsweb deleted the posts from the message boards and this one has been deleted as well, and I would have expected that they would have filtered this person by now. I have added them to the reject list, but the only way to absolutely stop it would be to turn off the gateway with the boards which I'm loathe to do, as I think much valuable information comes that way. The link looks very suspicious to me and I would advise against clicking on it. If not downright suspicious, it certainly has the earmarks of spam. Gary, This has been posted on many message boards not only in KY but other states as well. I turned off the Gateway to KYADAIR Mail List until they get this taken care of, I like you have reported it and suggested they filter his address but then all he will need do is get another address. I do wonder how he got or has a rootsweb.com address or domain?? Good to see that you did place him or them in the Reject filter. Thanks for running a fine message board.
