My name is Rose and I am the daughter of Thelma Stevens Daughter of Lee Stevens, the son of James Coleman Stevens/Stephens born Russel Co, the son of James Henry Stevens/Stephens of Russel Co who was we beleive the son of Welcome Stevens of Russel Co . James Henry Stevens/Stephens of Russel Co Married Annie M Whittle on August 31, 1870. (Or at least thats the marriage date we have, so far I have not been able to find that record any where. :-( Rosemary Sheilds has Absolutely the most info on the Stevens I have found. But I am delighted to see your post on Whittle/Stephens in Russel. Unfortunatly I have nothing on my Whittles.
