Census reports are full of errors. I would say that the William G. Passmore in 1880 Russell County is identical to the William T. or L. Passmore in the 1870 Russell County census. ----- Original Message ----- From: <anderson_bobandmargie@msn.com> To: <KYRUSSEL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 26, 2004 7:09 PM Subject: [RUSSELL COUNTY, KY] Passmore, William L. born abt. 1867 > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/XBB.2ACE/1682 > > Message Board Post: > > I am trying to find out if my great grandfather Wm. Passmore is the Wm. listed in the 1880 census, son of Isaac and Polly Passmore. From other censuses his age would match up close to this one. In other earlier censuses they transcribed a different middle intial for him. Our Wm. ended up in Macon Co. Mo. by at least 1891 where he married Anna Kisor. His middle name was Landrum.
