His grandfather, Archie Spence, was a brother to Jamina (sp?) Spence. I have some information on the Ratliff's also. In fact I have additional information beyond John Spence. Henry Spence was in Lawrence or Martin County KY in 1880. Since I don't have my computer in front of me, I can't get to the data to give you an exact account of where he was. Henry was living with his stepfather at the time. I would be very glad to share what information I have, with you, in exchange for what you have. Maybe, together, we can get this figured out. None of the children of Henry (better known as Jeff) and Mary Ann are living now. The youngest of the children passed away in 2004. Keep in touch. Jan Grady
