The Russell Register, one of Russell County's two newspapers, has created a genealogy section in it's forums area. It will be another resource that we can use to share information and photos and will I think have an advantage in that it is located in Russell County. They have indicated a willingness to include genelogical materials in the newspaper as well if folks wish to contribute them. I do believe that you have to be a registered user of the site and be logged in but registation is free.
