She was a retired nurse and a member of the Russell Springs Christian Church. She is survived by one son, Jeffery Brent George, Mooresville, IN; three daughters, Judy Carroll George, Speedway, IN, Ruby Joette Beck, Brownsburg, IN, Julie Ann Baker, Russell Springs, KY; one brother, Calvin Hart, Indianapolis, IN; three sisters, Velice Cottingin, Speedway, IN, Thelma Dowell, Mooresville, IN, and Nancy Hughes, Indianapolis, IN; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were Thursday, 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Carroll Egnew officiating. Interment was in the Mill Springs National Cemetery at Nancy. The Family requests that expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Russell Springs Christian Church Building Fund. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
