In the 1840 Russell Co. Ky. Census they are shown as having at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. We know of Dudley, age 4 and Cyrus,age 2. The 3rd son is between 5 and 10 years old. We believe he may be William Garrett Lane, age 5, born in 1835. If so he would be our ggrandfather. There is also Nancy age 1 and Lucy age 6. One unknown between 5 and 10 years old. In 1850 the family has been located in Illinois. We would appreciate any help with this family. Thanks
