My grandmother was Nannie Francis McElroy. She had an older brother Harrison McElroy and an older sister Rachel Elizabeth McElroy Carson. I have a 1910 Census from Russell county Kentucky that has Head as William F McElroy with wife Sarah E and children Harrison, Nanny F, Rosevelt, Mirtie, Annie and Martha. My mother says that her grandmother died in childbirth with Nannie and her grandfather remarried. My aunts think that her name was Mary Ann Eades and that Sarah might have been the second wife and mother of all the other kids after Nannie. Does this sound familiar? I'm sure we have a connection some where!
