Tn. in late 1800's. My father and uncle remember their father, Vainus Branch b.1897 had an uncle Harlon Lawless, who lived with them in Jackson Co. Have found one reference on TNGENWEB site for Jackson Co. of death certificate for Teakley Branch showing Thomas & Amanda of Ky. as parents. Vainus's fathers name was Will Branch; children of Will-Vainus Edmond Branch; Leddie Branch (McDowell); Ruby Branch; Ernest Branch. Trying to find connection, guess is Will's spouse might be a daughter of Thomas & Amanda?
