I have William, Jr., b 1818 Adair County; married Nancy Powell Children: Isabella, b. 1839; Louis, b. 1837; William III, b. 1842 Luvenia, b. 1844; Elizabeth, b. 1846; John C. b. 1847; Nancy E. b. 1852; Benajamine F., b. 1856; Sarah J. b. 1858 and Robert C., b. 1859. The daughter of William Bailey and Isabella Day, Rachel Bailey, married David L. McElroy. This is where my McElroy Line starts. My Elzy Bailey (born April 1871) was the son of Austin (born about 1854) and Della Bailey, found in the 1880 Russell Co., Ky Census. I can't find where Elzy died and where he is buried. He died sometime after the 1910 Census and before 1920. Elzy's wife, Martha Ann McElroy is buried in the McElroy Cemetery, there in Russell Co., Ky. I can't find Austin after the 1880 Russell Co., Census either. Maybe Austin is a middle name??? He could be a son to one of the Bailey's in Adair Co. Ky. Austin is my brick wall. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help!
