Hi, I am new to the Wells list. My mother's maiden name is Wells. She was born to John Cris Wells and Noma Emaline Brown, Davis, Wells, 10/4/1938 in Jamestown, Russell Co. KY. I am intrigued by this Asa Wells "Ace" Rogers name. How does he fit into the Wells line? I figure that he must fit in somehow by his middle name being "Wells." I have an Elizabeth Kimbler b. 1836. She married William Jordan Wells m. 1/14/1858 in Russell Co. KY. I have no other husbands listed for her. I also have one son born to them, Jesse Wells b. 11/12/1858. William Jordan Wells was a half brother to my 2x great grandfather John Wells b. 1823 Russell Co. KY. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
