Blankenship I have is the son of John W. & Rebecca Elizabeth (Williams) Blankenship. John was b abt 1854 KY. I don't have a marriage for him. In the 1880 census he was still single. If you can establish this is your John C., then I would have John W's parents as John & Ancatron "Katherine" (McFall) Blankenship. Rebecca's father was John Williams. Ancatron's parents were Daniel & Ester (Murrain) McFall. Do you know an approximate age for your John C., and a date when he married Eliza Coe?
