I am in possession of stacks of pictures........mostly taken between 1890 and 1930........in Russell Co., KY....maybe some in Adair Co. I rather think though that most of them were from Russell Springs in the Humble, Webb's Crossroads area. I could be wrong......... Some of these people are total strangers, but a lot are kinfolk......I just can't tell the difference all these years later......... I believe that some are RICHARDSONS, some are LEACH's, some are OWENS, some are definitely FOLEY, some are REXROATS, some are WILKERSONS, some with a lot of wishful thinking are PHELPS. I have a few non relatives that I have names on, such as Dameron, Williams, one Twyford, Cunningham, etc. What I wonder is if any of you have any pictures of the above mentioned families taken about that timeframe that I could compare with my pictures......I have been able to place some of my unnamed doing just that, but I'm afraid I have so many more.....I have a lot of babies that I'm afraid we will never place........cute as they are..... I have received a couple of Richardson pictures from Glenda Harrel that I was thankful for. If anyone has any ideas about how we can identify some of these people, please share it with me. I tried the newspapers and even sent them a couple of discs with .tif images on them but they never did anything with them. I thought maybe they could put a small section in the paper of "Do you remember" or something like that. Any help would be appreciated. Marilyn Phelps.........w/o Leo J.
