Good morning everyone. I am a descendent of John George of the 12th Ky. Inf. who enlisted in 1862 at Camp Clio,Ky. Does anyone know the probable location of this camp? Also, I want to encourage everyone to go to the Mill Springs Confederate Cemetery and take the guided tour with Mr. Don Patterson. He showed me the corn field the 12th came across to join the Battle of Mill Springs and awarded me a Descendents Ribbon as well as a piece of the "Zolly Tree". In my exitement I forgot to ask Don where Camp Clio was located! A wonderful experience!! Don is very enthusiastic and makes the Civil War come alive in his narratives. I did this about a year ago and the memory of this occasion will be with me always. Thanks, Sharon
