Hi everyone! My name is Lisa VonLanken and I've been doing genealogy research on my Russell County family for years, but over the last 3 years, my research dropped off dramatically due to a stressful job situation. But now I'm back and ready to jump in again! I've been going through my files and trying to find out where I am in each line and I've been looking at some books with marriage bonds and consent notes. Can anyone tell me what "b.s. by" means? I think it might mean "bond signed by", but even if that's the case, I'm not sure exactly what that means. Any ideas?
