Tn. where his sister Sibbie Jane was born. To the best of my knowledge, James' fathers' name was James L. Brummitte (no proof on the name), but James' mothers' name was Mary Jane Tayes Brummitte (proof). May be spelled as Brummitt, Brumitt, Brummett, Brummette, Brumett. Any lil' morsel of info might just be the key. Can you help?
